Some of support staff support staff I feel need education in working at a clinic with people with health issues. I'm guessing I won't be talking to my doctor. The last receptionist wasn't nice at all. Just hung up when conversation was over. I was very pleased with my doctor. Some support staff I feel needs education in people skills. A young lady name Patty that gave me instructions before my procedure deserves five star rating.

Terrible support staff and doctors that can't be bothered to read results and provide a diagnosis in a timely manner. After two weeks of multiple calls and messages, it took showing up in person just to find out my paperwork had been mishandled. After two more weeks I am still waiting for an official diagnosis and treatment plan. They do not seem to care.

Dr Levings seems to be really caring and really explains things to where you understand. And the lab nurse I don’t know her name blonde lady she’s really nice and it didn’t hurt when she poked me to get my blood lol. I recently was diagnosed with UC and the people have been nothing but patient with me I know I called a couple times upset and they never got rude with me which they should’ve haha. We all just got to remember doctors and nurses are people too!

Although my initial scheduling process was frustrating, the rest of the interactions at the center were awesome. Pattricia in the front office was very welcoming of my multiple emails asking questions. My intake nurse Shana was very calming, friendly and thorough. Dr. Levings was warm and encouraging with her calm, confident demeanor. But, by far, my anesthetist, Dan, was my favorite person there. He was talkative and had a great sense of humor which helped me relax and feel calmer about the whole procedure. All in all, it was a great experience - which is saying a lot since it was a colonoscopy!

Very unsatisfying. After multiple visits, appointments, self scheduling and followups well over a one year period with no diagnosis, I had to finally cancel with this outfit and fortunately found a gastrologist in Dallas. In one visit he scheduled me a CT Scan and I was given a diagnosis. And my records were never transferred to this new doctor. Pathetic. Also, more than once our family doctor's office had to intervene to keep trying to determine what my issue was. Unacceptable. If they had followed up the results of my lower GI from 13 months earlier (which was the same results as what the CT Scan revealed last week), like the Dallas Dr did, then my treatment would be over, not just now starting. Glad we took the initiative and went elsewhere.

Came in to see Dr. Contreras due to having stomach problems after giving birth to my daughter back in 2009. Not only is he a God fearing man but he is great at ALL he does. I cannot thank him enought for all the testing he order to see what is the cause of my stomach problems. Hes staff is always welcoming and ready to help. Not to mention scheduling any procedure or testing that is needed is schedule at ease. I am glad my doctor refer me to this doctor. I give it a 5 🌟 rating due to the courtesy and knowledge he has. Not to mention how helpful hes staff is and makes every visit easy. The building is well kept and clean. Omg the rest rooms are super clean... THANK God some doctor's still believe in prayer.. 🙏

Doctors at Waco Gastrology don't want to listen to the patient they want to jump to conclusions such as I went through prep for 2 days I was up for 48 hours and kit that they gave me did not clean out my colon they wanted me to go through a third day of colon prep but the doctor did not want to listen when I tried to tell him I was up for 2 days with no sleep and I'm dehydrated I physically cannot go a third night without sleep and I cannot go through the prep without hydration and they went ahead and they booked me into Providence Hospital were the doctor forgot to order a t liquid diet till after lunch was served turn all I got for lunch was one popsicle and 6 oz cup of broth and the nurses told me I couldn't get out of bed even to go to the bathroom without them being with me but no one would let me sleep because somebody was coming into the room and waking me up every half hour and they weren't allowing me to get up out of bed to get a glass of water Norwood the staff give me a picture of water and put it on the bedside table so I reached out to my insurance and they did a medical review with two blocks temps to do a colonoscopy and having to go through a third one when their doctors don't want to listen to the patient they need to understand that their office manager screwed up the test and canceled the appointment the one good time I did get cleaned out but it was nothing but a waste of taxpayers money because I'm on Medicare and it clearly stated after a medical review of Waco Gastrology that their doctors ordered the wrong prep kit twice
